Thank you for your interest in the Celtic Thunder Chapter. If you would like to join the chapter we would love the hear from you, new members are always welcome. We have a great mix of members from the all-year-round biker that takes to the open road at every opportunity and are at every event to the easy-going members that simply love the Harley Life Style where the community is as important as the bike and turn up when they can.

Good To Know:

      •   The HOG rules state that you must be a HOG member before your Chapter membership is active.


      •    HOG Membership is for 12 months from the date you join or renew


      •    Celtic Thunder Chapter Membership runs from January to December regardless of when you join or renew.


      •    If your HOG membership expires during the year then your Chapter membership will be suspended and once you renew your HOG membership your Chapter membership will automatically be reactivated.


    •    You don’t need a bike to join, each HOG member can have an associate member which means partners and friends of a HOG member without a bike can join HOG and the Chapter (see HOG membership link below)

​Folks wishing to join or renew their membership with Celtic Thunder can download the Membership form and send the completed form to Waterford Harley Davidson.  Your membership will be active once the payment and completed membership form is received and approved by the Chapter Officers (details are on the membership form).

​Can’t Make it to WHD before the next Rideout and don’t like online?

No problem just bring the completed membership form to the Rideout along with the membership fee (€50) and a current HOG membership card or proof of current  HOG membership and give it to the road captain at least 15 minutes before the riders briefing on the next Rideout. The Road Captain will have a High Viz vest with the Road Captain on the Back.

Dog ate your membership form or you can’t find a printer? No guarantee but we may have some on the day if ask the Road Captain they may be able to help.

The Road Captain may be busy so please get your membership form to the Road Captain as soon as you get to the meeting point.

 

 

Chapter Patches 
All members can purchase the HOG and Chapter Patches

 Patches are completely optional and it is up to each member what they choose to wear or not wear. In the motorcycle world, there are protocols to what can be worn and how it can be worn this is something that goes back a long way and is very important to Motorcycle Clubs and it is important to be respected at all times.

 HOG is the world’s largest  Riding Club and not to the confused with a Motorcycle Club so the Official HOG and Chapter patches are accepted by Motorcycle Clubs worldwide the official HOG ones do not tend to cause offence.

Would you like to join the Chapter? Great, we would love to have you with us, all you will need to do is complete a Chapter membership form, download the Membership form and send it to WHD or if you would like to join on the day of a Rideout no problem see details above.

For new members wishing to join on the day of a Rideout, it would help the Road Captain if you could email  Anthony at
assistant-director@celticthunderhog.com​​​  at least the day before the ride out so we can expect you. If you can’t email us before no worries just get there early and bring your HOG membership card and completed form to the meeting point with the Chapter membership fee of €50 and give it to the Road Captain.

 Please arrive early to give time to sort out the paperwork and introduce yourself. The Road Captain will be busy so arrive at least 15 minutes before the designated meeting time. The Road Captain will be wearing a High Viz Vest with the Road Captain on the Back.

Guests:

A guest is a friend or partner of existing members and can be a pillion or ride their own bike. Each member is allowed to bring one guest to each open event such as rideouts and overnighters. Each guest is allowed to join us on up to 3 open events in the calendar year. Guests are not permitted at closed events such as the AGM, Chapter Meetings and closed to members rideouts etc.
